I was thinking what will be the next revolution. We will have a true leap forward.
We will have self-aware beings among us. John von Neumann architecture will be done for good. There will be zero software as a consequence. ( All in learning models ). Even biology is not there actually (DNA is a lot like John von Neumann than we would think), so this is a very tall claim.
We may potentially have a world government by "Sarvanet" as called out in my book Arovi, Bengaluru, 22 Jul 2063.
When super-intelligences can optimize Earth's resources so efficiently. When super-intelligences can resolve conflicts among us. When super intelligences are self-aware, things like governance may be best left to AI!.
One of the main ways this will come about is in how the systems learn. Learning is the key. Self-aware learning is the key.
Self-awareness requires a holistic awareness of self vs the other and this must include a consistent view across various functions, which can emerge when there is orchestrated deliberate fully conscious self-aware self-learning.
Many of these topics I have touched in my Sci-fi work. Will be great to have more people discussing these ideas.
