Since AI has grown in popularity, technical and non-technical employees have been using it to build small tools and apps to boost productivity and model prototypes. Some companies like Ramp and Stripe, are building their own internal platform for this. That’s great for them, but not every company can, or has the bandwidth to do that.
Pando is a similar idea, but fully open-source. It provides a home for these apps and tools that people build, so they get put in a centralized place with a clear owner. Apps are automatically put behind company SSO, scanned for vulnerabilities, isolated, and easily shareable. You can also put egress controls on them, and control how many apps people can deploy.
Since it’s API first, there is a native CLI and MCP for it, that makes deploying super easy.
Curious if this is something you are running into at your company, and if Pando sounds interesting to you! And if it doesn’t, why not?
